About Us

One of Europe’s most exciting young ensembles, the award-winning Astatine Trio have most recently been named BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists for 2025-27.

Their accolades include second prize and the special prize at the 2025 Franz Schubert and Modern Music Competition in Graz – the first UK-based ensemble to win a main prize in the competition’s history. Shortly after they were selected as Kirckman Concert Society Artists and awarded the prestigious RPS Henderson Chamber Ensemble Award.

The trio’s approach has been greatly shaped by the mentorship of legendary pianist Alfred Brendel, who upon first hearing invited them to work regularly with him from 2022.
